Question 1

What is the minimum order quantity for private label pet food?

Accepted Answer

Typical first production runs start at one full pallet per SKU for dry extruded food and one production batch for wet food in pouches or cans. Because recipes, packaging and retorting parameters are set per batch, we agree MOQs per format during the technical brief rather than applying one fixed figure.

Question 2

How long does it take to develop a new pet food recipe?

Accepted Answer

A custom formulation normally moves from brief to approved sample in four to six weeks: nutrient matrix build against FEDIAF guidelines, raw material sourcing, pilot extrusion or retort trial, palatability check by our in-house veterinary team, then laboratory verification of the analytical profile.

Question 3

Which certifications and regulations do your plants work under?

Accepted Answer

Our facilities operate under IFS Food v8, HACCP plans, GMP+ feed safety assurance and ISO 14001 environmental management. Labelling, claims and composition follow FEDIAF nutritional guidelines and EU Regulation (EC) No 767/2009 on the placing on the market of feed.

Question 4

Do you support export documentation and EU distribution?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We issue batch certificates of analysis, veterinary health certificates, TRACES documentation and multilingual artwork checks, and we can ship ex-works, FCA or DAP to distributors and retail chains across the EU and neighbouring markets.

Question 5

Can you produce single-protein and grain-free formulas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We run single-protein wet and dry lines with dedicated cleaning validation to control cross-contact, plus grain-free, hypoallergenic, life-stage and breed-specific formulations developed in-house.
